PrayforPensacola.com 's "40 days" is a county-wide event designed to bring together every church and every denomination for the sole purpose of praying and fasting for our community. We are not a church or a charity organization. We are a growing group of Christians joined together by a love for Pensacola and Escambia County. "40 days" is an online event. We ask participating churches to make their congregants aware of the website and to allow them to sign up to participate. Our website has basic information about fasting and we have a prayer calendar that gives participants 40 days of prayer targets. As a group we pray every day for each person listed on the calendar. The focus is our local government as well as local issues such as poverty, education, hurricanes, etc. Our 40 day calendar can be printed out and put inside your church bulletin.
